Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING

Ensure that the machine is completely shut down, isolated, and depressurized before starting installation. Do not attempt to adjust or insert probe housings while pressurized machinery is active, as blowout hazards could lead to severe physical injury or equipment destruction.

Apply high-temperature thread sealant to the 3/4-14 NPT mounting threads before engaging the port.

Thread the housing assembly into the machine port manually to ensure no cross-threading occurs, then torque to standard engineering specifications.

Set the probe penetration depth to 12.0 inches, taking account of the 1.5-inch standoff adapter offset. Use the calibrated gap voltage method via an external multimeter to verify target distance.

Select the appropriate grommet size from the provided fittings package (Option 03) matching your extension cable diameter to establish a robust environmental and tension seal.
