The CP6911-0000-0000 relies on a dedicated transmitter module (such as the Beckhoff CU8801 USB Extended transmitter box and a compatible DVI splitter/transmitter) on the host PC side. It cannot be connected directly to standard PC USB ports over distances exceeding 5 meters without this active transmitter hardware. When routing the DVI-E and USB-E 2.0 cables, avoid running them in the same wire duct as high-voltage AC motor lines or variable frequency drive (VFD) output cables. High electromagnetic interference (EMI) can cause intermittent USB dropouts or screen flickering. Always maintain a minimum separation of 100 mm from power cables.
For the USB-E 2.0 RJ45 connection, use high-quality, shielded Cat 5e or Cat 6 STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cabling. Ensure that the shield of the RJ45 connector is properly grounded at both ends. Insert the panel into the cutout and secure it from the rear using the integrated pull-out clamping levers. Tighten the screws evenly to the specified torque to avoid warping the front bezel.
Connect the 24 V DC power supply to the terminal block, ensuring correct polarity. Connect the DVI-E and USB-E 2.0 cables before powering up the system.
