Installation Guidelines

  • Mounting: The unit is designed for front-panel mounting. Ensure the cutout is precise to maintain the structural integrity of the control cabinet.

  • Power Supply Wiring: The controller supports a wide DC range (8V to 35V). To ensure the unit remains powered during engine cranking (where voltage drops occur), the 6.5V minimum supply tolerance is critical.

  • Grounding: Always connect the negative battery terminal directly to the controller's ground terminal using a dedicated wire to prevent electrical noise interference.

  • Sensor Calibration: When connecting the 3 analog sensors (typically for Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, and Fuel Level), ensure the correct sensor curves are selected in the software to match your physical hardware.

What is the difference between the easYgen-600 and the 1600/1800 models?

The easYgen-600 is a standard Start/Stop controller without Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) logic. Higher models in the series typically add AMF capabilities and additional communication ports.

Can this unit be used for both 12V and 24V battery systems?

Yes. The operating range of 8V to 35V DC covers both standard industrial battery voltages, and the measurement accuracy is calibrated for both scales.
