Can the 8C-PAONA2 be used to communicate with HART-enabled valves?

While the 8C-PAONA2 can drive a HART-enabled valve positioner using a standard 4-20 mA signal, it cannot read or write digital HART data. For full HART pass-through and diagnostics, the 8C-PAOHA1 module must be used instead.

  • Shielding and Noise: Use twisted-pair shielded cable for all 16 channels. The shield should be grounded at the IOTA's grounding bar.
