Schneider Electric Publishes Q3 2026 Sustainability Metrics

Schneider Electric's October 16 update reports operational emissions, supplier criteria, circular-service growth and energy-technology training metrics.

Schneider Electric published its third-quarter 2026 sustainability update on October 16, 2026. The release reports progress under the company's Impact 2030 program.

The figures are corporate performance metrics. They are not product energy ratings or guarantees for individual Schneider Electric devices.

Reported Q3 2026 figures

  • Scopes 1 and 2 emissions were 83% below the 2017 comparison level.
  • Schneider Electric reported 211 million MWh saved or electrified for customers during the first nine months of 2026.
  • The company reported 943 million tonnes of cumulative avoided or saved CO₂ emissions since 2018.
  • Zero Carbon Pathway suppliers meeting the program criteria increased from 15 at the end of the first half to 135 at the end of Q3.
  • Responsible materials reached 22%, compared with a 19% 2025 baseline.
  • Circular services increased by a factor of 1.2 compared with the end of 2025.

What Schneider counts for suppliers

The supplier program requires qualifying participants to quantify Scope 1 and 2 emissions, adopt reduction targets, and calculate indirect emissions through product carbon footprints or company-level Scope 3 accounting.

Schneider Electric said AI-enabled tools were deployed for more than 1,200 suppliers in 2026. The program also included ten supplier bootcamps, more than 250 coaching sessions and about 35 site reviews.

Engineering and procurement relevance

The update matters when procurement teams request emissions data, product carbon information or lifecycle-service evidence from automation suppliers.

It does not replace model-specific technical data. Engineers should still use the datasheet, environmental declaration and lifecycle notice for the exact order code.

The circular-services measure covers customer-owned assets receiving maintenance, spare parts, take-back or refurbishment services. That definition is useful when comparing service proposals; it is different from a product recycling claim.
