Series and Wiring Notes
Rockwell states that Series D 1746-OV32 modules are not fused. Series A, B and C units use a non-replaceable 2.5 A fuse for each common. Check the series marking before replacing a module.
To reach the Series D continuous-current rating for a common, both DC COM connections in that wire group must be connected to the DC source. Observe the module, common and point current limits together; the per-point rating does not override the total module limit.
Replacement Check
Match the full 1746-OV32 catalog number and confirm sinking-output wiring. The sourcing 1746-OB32 is not a direct electrical equivalent. Record field-wire positions and isolate load power before removing the connector.
