  1. De-energize the entire control cabinet and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to the main power disconnect.
  2. Select a mounting location that provides adequate clearance for ventilation and cable access. Verify the mounting surface is flat and mechanically stable.
  3. Securely mount the IPC427C unit to the panel or DIN rail using the appropriate mounting hardware.
  4. Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the IPC chassis.
  5. Connect all required communication and peripheral cables, such as PROFIBUS DP, Ethernet, and USB devices. Ensure cable shields are properly terminated.
  6. Connect the 24V DC power supply to the power input terminals, strictly observing correct polarity (+/-).
  7. Remove LOTO devices and re-energize the control cabinet. Verify the IPC boots correctly and that all status indicators are normal.
