  • CP461 Upgrades: While a pair of CP461 modules in an active dual-redundant layout can be on-line replaced with a pair of these modules, they cannot co-exist with a CP461 unit within the same dual-redundant configuration slot.
  • Personnel Restrictions: Upgrading an existing field control installation from a CP461 to this module must be executed exclusively by a Yokogawa authorized service engineer.
  • Replacement Constraints: Once a station has been updated, replacing the active module back with an older CP461 unit is strictly prohibited.
