As a core component of the Freelance 800F system, this Base Unit features 4 MB of static RAM and 4 MB of EPROM. The PM 802F cyclically scans signals from fieldbus sensors via connected modules, processes these signals based on user-installed application programs, and transmits appropriate control signals to fieldbus actuators.
