Description
The BECKHOFF CP7212-0000-0060 is an Economy Panel PC engineered for industrial control and visualization tasks, combining a high-performance operator interface with a powerful computing unit in a unified housing. Designed for mounting arm installation, this panel PC integrates directly into machine environments where space-saving yet robust HMI hardware is required. The device serves as a central platform for running TwinCAT automation software and executing demanding machine control, operation, and monitoring functions.
Constructed within a sturdy aluminum housing, the unit features a passive cooling concept using a heat sink structure between the control panel and add-on PC, supplemented by an internal fan for equal heat distribution across the housing walls. It is equipped with a 15-inch display offering a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, paired with a touch screen interface. The integrated 3½-inch motherboard houses an Intel Celeron G3900TE processor operating at 2.3 GHz with 2 cores, supported by 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and storage configurations including a CFast slot and a 2½-inch 320 GB hard disk.
System connectivity includes dual on-board 100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, with one port led out via a push-pull connector in the accessible wiring area. The wiring compartment accommodates up to six IP65 connectors, providing secure cable routing for industrial environments. Operating on a 24 V DC power supply and rated to IP65 protection class, this Panel PC delivers reliable standalone computing power directly at the machine level.

Installation Guidelines
Verify the exact model number and inspect the aluminum housing and connectors for any transport damage prior to assembly.
Ensure the installation site provides an unobstructed clearance of at least 20 cm (7.9 inches) around the PC housing to allow proper air circulation.
Mount the panel PC securely onto a compatible 48 mm mounting arm system (such as Rittal or Rolec mounting arm setups) using the rotatable adapter from the top.
Open the wiring compartment and route incoming cables through the IP65-rated connectors, ensuring secure attachment of the push-pull Ethernet cable and power supply lines.
Connect a stable 24 V DC power supply to the designated terminals while ensuring all power sources are switched off and locked out.
Check all wiring, ground connections, and seal integrity before energizing the system for initial commissioning.
