The BECKHOFF CPX3915-0010 is a high-performance industrial multi-touch Control Panel designed specifically for operation in hazardous areas classified as Zone 2 and Zone 22. Featuring a 15-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, this unit combines an elegant, slim design with the mechanical durability required for demanding processing and manufacturing environments.

At the core of the BECKHOFF CPX3915-0010 is the CP-Link 4 connection technology, also known as the One Cable Display Link. This transmitter-driven interface allows the Control Panel to be positioned up to 100 meters away from the control cabinet PC. Using a single Cat.6A cable, the system transmits DVI, USB 2.0 (operating at 100 Mbit/s), and power. Depending on the transmitter module used, power can be supplied either directly through the CP-Link 4 cable or via a separate 24 V DC supply connection.

Engineered for safety and longevity, the device features a durable aluminum housing equipped with a glass front plate. With a complete IP65 protection rating, it remains fully protected against dust and water ingress. The integrated multi-finger touch screen provides an intuitive user interface, allowing operator interactions even in harsh physical environments.

Installation Guidelines

1. Verify that the BECKHOFF CPX3915-0010 hardware revision matches your system configuration and safety planning documentation.
2. Ensure that all power sources to the machine and control cabinets are completely de-energized before mounting the hardware.
3. Secure the display to your mounting arm or support system using the 4 M6 threaded holes on the rear connection block, adhering to the 100 x 100 mm hole pattern.
4. Connect the certified Cat.6A cable from the CP-Link 4 transmitter card in the Industrial PC to the corresponding M12 round connector on the display. Ensure the connection is securely tightened to maintain the IP65 seal.
5. If using an external power source instead of power-over-cable, connect the auxiliary 24 V DC line to the second M12 power connector.
6. Ensure that the grounding connections comply with local hazardous area regulations before energizing the system.
7. Power on the host system and verify that the display and touch overlay function correctly in your TwinCAT runtime environment.
