Before installing or replacing the interface card, ensure that the Industrial PC is completely powered down and disconnected from the main power supply. Use standard Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protective gear, such as an ESD wrist strap, to prevent static damage to the internal circuitry.
Insert the module securely into the designated Beckhoff PCIe slot and tighten any retaining screws to establish solid mechanical and electrical contact. Ensure that PROFIBUS cabling is routed separately from high-voltage power lines to minimize electromagnetic interference.
