Installation Guidelines

1. Ensure the entire control system and local power supplies are completely de-energized before beginning installation or wiring work.
2. Inspect the terminal housing and pluggable wiring connector for any signs of transport damage or contamination.
3. Mount the BECKHOFF KS3044 onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail (conforming to EN 60715) by snapping it into place, utilizing the built-in locking mechanism.
4. Connect adjacent terminals securely using the double slot and key connection system to maintain proper K-bus alignment.
5. Strip field conductors to the specified length (9 to 10 mm) and insert them into the spring-actuated connection points using a suitable screwdriver.
