The 3500/15-05-00-CN is a half-height module designed to power the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It must be installed in designated slots on the left side of the 3500 rack to convert a wide range of input voltages into regulated voltages required by other system modules. The 3500/15-05-00-CN functions as a universal AC power supply and operates alongside a universal AC Power Input Module (PIM). The 3500 rack can hold either a single supply or two redundant power supplies. In a dual configuration, the module in the lower slot acts as the primary supply, while the module in the upper slot serves as the backup supply. Redundant operation allows for the removal or insertion of either supply module without disrupting system operation.
