Description

Engineered to integrate sequence control and analog loop control into a single space-saving design, the Omron CJ1G-CPU43P serves as a high-performance loop-control CPU unit within the Sysmac CJ1 product family. This module enables seamless coordination between standard PLC ladder logic and PID process control loops, eliminating the need for separate loop controllers in complex industrial installations.

The processor supports an I/O capacity of up to 960 points and features a dedicated program capacity of 20 Ksteps. With 64 Kwords of data memory split evenly between DM and EM banks, the controller manages both discrete high-speed logic and analog profiles efficiently. The integrated loop control capability supports up to 300 function blocks, allowing complex analog algorithms and PID configurations to run directly within the CPU engine.

This unit is optimized for process control applications such as temperature regulation, flow control, and pressure modulation across various utilities and manufacturing systems. It mounts directly onto standard CJ-series backplanes and interfaces seamlessly with standard CJ1 I/O modules and industrial communication networks.

Features

  • Simultaneous execution of sequence control (ladder logic) and analog loop control.
  • Supports up to 300 analog loop control function blocks.
  • Flexible memory architecture with 32 Kwords of DM and 32 Kwords of EM data storage.
  • Compact, rackless modular design for clean panel installation.
  • Fully compatible with Sysmac CX-One configuration and programming software.

Applications

  • Water and wastewater treatment processing (flow, level, and pH control).
  • Chemical batch processing and reactor temperature management.
  • Food and beverage thermal processing and pasteurization lines.
  • Industrial furnace and burner control systems.
