Integrating thermal measurement directly into micro-PLC configurations, the CP1W-TS004 functions as a high-precision thermocouple input expansion module. Engineered for seamless coupling with Omron CP-series controllers, including the CP1E, CP1L, and CP1H, this module facilitates the direct connection of up to four temperature sensors without requiring external signal conditioning or transmitter hardware.

The unit converts analog thermal data from K-type or J-type thermocouples into digital values, transmitting them directly to the PLC CPU memory area. This direct-bus connection minimizes signal degradation over long distances, simplifies overall system wiring, and reduces control cabinet space requirements by eliminating independent DIN-rail temperature transmitters.
