The module must be mounted onto a compatible Modicon STB I/O base (such as the STBXBA1000 or STBXBA2000). Ensure the DIN rail is properly grounded and that shielded cables are used for all analog input runs to prevent electromagnetic interference. Connect the cable shield to the designated functional ground terminal on the STB assembly. Under no circumstances should the module be inserted into an incompatible base type, as this can cause physical damage to the module connectors.
