Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Installation, modification, or removal of this device must be performed only by qualified electrical personnel. Failure to follow proper safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), can result in severe electrical shock, injury, or death.
  1. 1 De-energize the entire control cabinet and verify the absence of voltage using a properly rated test instrument. Apply LOTO devices as per site safety policy.
  2. 2 Prepare the panel cutout. Ensure the dimensions match the mechanical requirements for an OP7 series panel and that the mounting surface is clean and flat.
  3. 3 Insert the operator panel into the cutout from the front. Secure it evenly from the rear using the provided mounting clips, tightening them to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect the DC power supply cable to the designated terminals on the rear of the unit. Verify correct polarity before making the connection.
  5. 5 Connect the PROFIBUS DP or other required communication cable to the corresponding interface port. Ensure the connector is fully seated and secured.
  6. 6 After all connections are verified, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the control cabinet according to standard operating procedures.
