Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before installation or servicing. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel familiar with applicable codes and standards. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Prepare the mounting cutout in the control cabinet panel according to the device's mechanical specifications. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of burrs.
-
2
Insert the HMI panel into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal against the panel gasket. Do not overtighten.
-
3
Connect the functional earth (FE) terminal on the HMI to the control cabinet's ground bar using a short, low-impedance conductor to minimize noise interference.
-
4
Connect the 24V DC power supply to the designated terminals, observing correct polarity. Use shielded cables for power and communication lines where possible, grounding the shield at one end.
-
5
Connect the PROFINET cable to the RJ45 port. Ensure proper cable routing away from high-voltage lines to prevent electromagnetic interference. Once all connections are secure, power may be restored to the system.
