Installation Guidelines

1. Ensure the control cabinet or panel is fully de-energized and locked out. Verify the absence of voltage before proceeding.
2. Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the IPC 477D installation requirements. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid.
3. Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
4. Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the IPC chassis. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
5. Connect the 24 V DC power supply to the power input connector, ensuring correct polarity. Use appropriately sized conductors and a dedicated, regulated power source.
6. Connect Ethernet, USB, and serial cables as required. Ensure all cables are properly secured and routed to prevent strain and interference.
7. After verifying all connections, remove the lockout/tagout devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and verify correct operation.
