Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: De-energize all system power before installation or removal. Failure to disconnect power can result in electric shock, equipment damage, or unintended machine operation. Always follow local Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  1. 1 Prepare the mounting location. Ensure the panel cutout dimensions are correct and the surface is clean, flat, and able to support the weight of the unit. Verify adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing at the rear of the PC.
  2. 2 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal against the panel.
  3. 3 Connect the 24 V DC power supply to the designated power input terminals. Verify correct polarity (+/-) before connecting. Use appropriately sized conductors for the load and distance from the power source.
  4. 4 Establish a low-impedance protective earth (PE) connection to the dedicated grounding stud on the chassis. This is critical for personnel safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  5. 5 Connect all required communication and peripheral cables (e.g., Ethernet, serial, USB). Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured. Power may now be restored to the system for commissioning.
