Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: This equipment must be installed and serviced by qualified personnel only. Failure to follow safety procedures can result in severe personal injury, death, or equipment damage. Always de-energize and lock out/tag out all power sources before performing any installation, wiring, or maintenance activities.
  1. 1 Panel Cutout and Mounting: Prepare the control cabinet panel cutout according to the device's mechanical drawings. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid. Insert the Panel PC into the cutout and secure it evenly using all provided mounting clamps to maintain the specified ingress protection rating. Do not overtighten the clamps.
  2. 2 Power Connection: Connect a stable, filtered 24 VDC power supply to the designated power terminals. Verify the correct polarity (+/-) before applying power. Use appropriately sized conductors for the current draw and ensure the power supply is properly grounded. It is recommended to use a dedicated circuit with overcurrent protection.
  3. 3 Protective Earth (PE) Grounding: Connect the chassis grounding terminal to the control cabinet's main protective earth busbar using a low-impedance conductor. This connection is critical for personnel safety and for minimizing the effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI).
  4. 4 Ventilation and Clearances: Ensure adequate ventilation around the rear of the unit to allow for proper heat dissipation. Maintain the specified minimum clearances above, below, and behind the device to prevent overheating and ensure reliable operation. Do not block ventilation slots.
