Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to follow proper safety procedures can result in electric shock, equipment damage, or serious injury. Always de-energize and lock out/tag out all power sources before installation or maintenance.
-
1
Ensure the control cabinet is de-energized and all relevant Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are in effect.
-
2
Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the PC 670 chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the unit's weight.
-
3
Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure the unit from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal.
-
4
Connect the protective earth (PE) or functional ground terminal to the cabinet's grounding system. This is a critical step for safety and noise immunity.
-
5
Connect the 115-230V AC power supply using the provided European mains cable to a properly rated and protected circuit.
-
6
Connect all necessary communication (e.g., Ethernet, serial) and peripheral (e.g., keyboard, mouse) cables.
-
7
After verifying all connections are secure, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and confirm proper boot-up and operation.
