Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize equipment before installation can result in severe injury or death. Always follow local Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  1. 1 De-energize the main control panel or cabinet and apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before beginning any work.
  2. 2 Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the PC677B chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the unit's weight.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the chassis. This is critical for electrical safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect the 110/230 V AC power supply cable to the unit's power input connector. Ensure the cable is securely fastened.
  6. 6 Connect Ethernet, PROFINET, USB, and serial cables as required by the application. Maintain proper separation between power and signal cables to minimize interference.
  7. 7 After verifying all connections are secure, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and confirm proper boot-up and system operation.
