Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to adhere to safety procedures can result in equipment damage, severe injury, or death. Always de-energize and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) all power sources before installation or maintenance.
  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet or panel is completely de-energized and locked out before beginning work. Verify zero-energy state with a calibrated multimeter.
  2. 2 Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the IPC 577C chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the unit's weight.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the chassis. This is a critical safety connection.
  5. 5 Connect the 110/230 V AC power supply cable. Ensure the source voltage matches the power supply's rating.
  6. 6 Connect all required communication (PROFINET, Ethernet) and peripheral (USB) cables. Use shielded cables for all data connections and ensure proper shield termination.
  7. 7 After verifying all connections are secure and correct, remove the LOTO device and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the unit to begin software installation and configuration.
