Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Always de-energize the ET 200M station and follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installing or removing bus modules. Failure to disconnect power can result in electric shock, equipment damage, and unintended machine operation.

Verify that the ET 200M station, including the interface module and power supply, is completely de-energized and secured against accidental restart.

Position the bus module on the ET 200M mounting rail. Align the hooks on the rear of the module with the rail profile and press down firmly until it clicks securely into place.

Install adjacent bus modules as required, ensuring they are seated correctly and interlocked with each other to form a continuous backplane bus.
