Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages may be present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Ensure all power sources are de-energized and locked out (LOTO) before beginning installation or maintenance.
  1. 1 De-energize the control cabinet and verify the absence of voltage before handling the unit.
  2. 2 Select a mounting location that provides adequate clearance for ventilation on all sides to prevent overheating. Avoid proximity to high-power cables and sources of strong electromagnetic interference.
  3. 3 Securely fasten the Box PC chassis to the mounting panel using all provided mounting points to ensure mechanical stability and proper grounding.
  4. 4 Connect a stable, correctly rated 24 V DC power source to the power input terminals. Verify correct polarity before applying power to prevent damage to the unit.
  5. 5 Connect the chassis to the main protective earth (PE) busbar using a low-impedance grounding conductor.
  6. 6 Connect Ethernet, PROFIBUS/MPI, USB, and any other required peripheral cables. Ensure all connectors are fully seated.
  7. 7 Once all connections are secure, re-energize the cabinet and verify that the Box PC boots correctly into the operating system.
