Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Disconnect all power sources and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installation or maintenance. This equipment contains components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use appropriate ESD protection, such as wrist straps and mats, when handling.
  1. 1 Ensure the mounting location provides adequate clearance for ventilation on all sides of the IPC chassis to prevent overheating. Verify the mounting surface can support the unit's weight.
  2. 2 Securely fasten the Box PC chassis to the mounting panel or DIN rail using the appropriate mounting hardware.
  3. 3 Connect the main protective earth (PE) terminal on the IPC chassis to the facility's ground system using a low-impedance conductor. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  4. 4 Connect all required interface cables, including Ethernet, USB, and serial devices. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured.
  5. 5 Connect the provided AC power supply cable to the IPC's power inlet and to a stable, grounded AC power source matching the 110/230V rating.
  6. 6 After verifying all connections are correct and secure, re-energize the system and power on the IPC. Confirm that the operating system boots correctly and all connected peripherals are recognized.
