Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Disconnect all power sources before installation or maintenance. This equipment is intended for use by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize the system can result in severe injury or death.

  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet is de-energized and locked out according to safety procedures. Verify the absence of voltage.
  2. 2 Mount the switch securely onto a standard 35mm DIN rail within the enclosure, ensuring adequate clearance for ventilation and cable access.
  3. 3 Connect a protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the switch chassis. A low-impedance ground connection is essential for safety and noise immunity.
  4. 4 Terminate the 100-240V AC/DC power supply wiring to the correct terminals, observing polarity if applicable for DC sources.
  5. 5 Connect the RJ45 and LC fiber optic network cables. Ensure fiber optic connectors are clean before insertion and observe minimum bend radius requirements for all cables.
  6. 6 Insert the C-PLUG into its designated slot if using it for configuration storage.
  7. 7 After closing the cabinet and removing safety locks, re-energize the system. Verify the switch's status LEDs for correct power-up and network link activity.
