Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical hazard. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before installation or maintenance. Work must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death.
  1. 1 Securely mount the access point to a stable surface, such as a wall, mast, or machine frame, ensuring sufficient clearance for cable connections and heat dissipation.
  2. 2 Connect the unit to a low-impedance functional earth (FE) ground point using the designated grounding terminal to ensure proper shielding and transient protection.
  3. 3 Install the appropriate external antennas (not included) onto the three R-SMA connectors. Ensure connectors are tightened to the specified torque and weatherproofed if installed outdoors.
  4. 4 Connect the network cable to the RJ45 port. If using PoE, ensure the cable is connected to a compatible PoE injector or switch.
  5. 5 If not using PoE, connect the 24 V DC power source to the provided terminal block, observing correct polarity. For redundant power, connect a second independent 24 V DC source.
  6. 6 After all connections are secure, re-apply power to the unit and proceed with software configuration according to the product manual.
