Installation & Wiring Best Practices

1. Thermal & Enclosure Layout

Mount the controller vertically on a standard sub-panel or mounting plate within a sealed, dust-proof enclosure. Maintain a minimum of 2 inches (50 mm) of clearance on all sides of the heat-dissipating housing to prevent hot-spot formation, ensuring surrounding internal air does not exceed the +65 °C operational ceiling.

2. Power and Grounding Integrity

The controller requires clean, dual-redundant 28V DC power feeds directly from the system power distribution modules. Bond the metal chassis securely to a low-impedance centralized master equipment ground bar. All Ethernet (IONet) cabling should utilize shielded twisted-pair (STP) lines to shield against high-voltage induction or magnetic line interference.
