The TC-PRS021 is fully compatible with C200 redundant chassis setups when paired with an identical partner module and a redundancy module. Ensure that both primary and secondary processors are running identical firmware revisions, as firmware mismatches will prevent successful synchronization.
To prevent communication lag or watchdog timeouts, ensure the C200 backplane is free from electromagnetic interference. Power supply stability is critical; transient voltage drops can initiate false controller switchovers in redundant topologies.
Before powering up the chassis, verify the keying mechanisms on the module base are properly aligned. Connect the chassis safety ground directly to the low-impedance master instrument ground before executing any initial boot procedures or downloading configuration files.
Disconnect all power to the chassis before inserting or removing the Control Processor Module. Working on live systems can result in equipment damage, accidental loop trips, or electric shock.
Verify that the target slot in the C200 chassis is clean, unbent, and free of debris.
Slide the module smoothly along the guide rails until it mates securely with the backplane connectors.
Secure the module latch mechanism at the top and bottom of the chassis.
Apply power and verify that the module diagnostic LED sequences initiate correctly.
