Installation Guidelines

Maintain proper mechanical clearance during installation. Ensure the probe tip is completely clear of adjacent metal structures to prevent crosstalk and side-loading errors. The minimum recommended target size is a flat surface with a diameter of 30.5 mm (1.2 in). Secure the probe case to a maximum torque of 45.2 N-m (400 in-lb), with 15.2 N-m (133 in-lb) recommended for 5/8-18 UNF cases. When routing the integral FluidLoc cable, maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) and secure the cable to avoid mechanical abrasion or whipping. To prevent premature seal degradation, do not expose the probe to temperatures below -34 degC (-30 degF) if a differential pressure seal is required.
