Description

The GE Energy IS420UCSCH1B is a UCSC Quad Core Controller Module manufactured by GE Energy for the Mark VIe Series. Designed for high-speed, highly-reliable industrial applications, this real-time hypervisor controller runs on a QNX Neutrino multi-task capable operating system powered by a 1.2 GHz AMD G-Series microprocessor.

Unlike other Mark VIe controllers that interface through a backplane, the unit does not use a backplane and hosts no local I/O applications. Its software and hardware architecture ensures no single point of application input is lost during maintenance or shutdown. The controller incorporates Embedded Field Agent (EFA) technology to enable Predix cloud-based applications and utilizes IONet interfaces for external data transfer.

Installation Guidelines
