The Honeywell LG1093AC01 is a ultraviolet (UV) radiation flame detector engineered for gas turbine flame monitoring systems. The unit senses the UV radiation emitted by a hydrocarbon flame and transmits a high-speed signal to indicate a flame or no-flame condition. Utilizing a Geiger Mueller-type phototube sensor, the detector is solar blind and tolerant to black body radiation. It is widely applied across General Electric and GE licensee gas turbines for power generation and compressor operations, delivering high sensitivity with typical response times of 0.1 seconds for flame presence.
