DI3301 (DI3301) Schneider Electric kompaniyasining Triconex uch modulli zaxiralash (TMR) arxitekturasining muhim komponentidir. The module monitors the presence of the 24 VDC field power. If power is lost to the field sensors, the DI3301 reports a "Field Power Loss" status to the application program, allowing for safe-state logic execution or alarming.

Can the DI3301 be used in a dual-redundant configuration?

While the Triconex system is natively Triple Modular Redundant (TMR), the DI3301 can operate in "dual" mode if one leg is faulted, though it is recommended to replace the module promptly to restore the full 2-out-of-3 (2oo3) voting safety integrity.

What is the significance of the "Active" and "Fault" LEDs on the front panel?

The Active LED indicates that the module is communicating with the Main Processors. The Fault LED illuminates when the internal diagnostics detect a hardware failure or a discrepancy between the three internal voting legs.


Installation & Wiring Guide

To ensure maximum EMI/RFI immunity and long-term reliability of the DI3301, follow these engineering best practices:

  1. Shielding and Grounding: Always use twisted-pair shielded cables for field wiring. Ensure the shield is grounded at the Triconex chassis end only to prevent ground loops that could introduce noise into the digital signal.
