The transmitter tracks dynamic radial vibration or shaft elongation by interfacing directly with a non-contacting proximity transducer system, translating raw displacement data into a proportional 4-20 mA analog current output. Installation Guidelines

  • Mechanical Bulkhead Installation: Mount the transmitter module securely onto a flat panel surface inside an enclosure using the bulkhead screw holes provided.
  • Transducer Setup: Install and gap the 3300 NSv proximity probe relative to the target material according to project engineering guidelines. Connect the 7.0m extension cable between the probe and the transmitter coaxial input port.
  • Moisture Protection: Wrap the probe-to-extension cable coaxial connections with self-fusing silicone tape to prevent moisture infiltration and grounding errors.
  • Electrical Loop Wiring: Connect the 4-20 mA signal wires from the receiver instrument to the transmitter terminal block while maintaining correct (+/-) polarity. Do not exceed the maximum supply limit of 35 Vdc.
  • Noise Avoidance: Route transmitter loop wiring and probe extension cables isolated from variable frequency drive (VFD) outputs, motor supply wires, or high-voltage AC electrical lines.
  • Loop Verification: Energize the loop circuit and verify a standard 4 mA baseline output when the monitored shaft is completely static.
