Description

The Allen-Bradley 1785-L80B is an Enhanced PLC-5 programmable controller designed for high-speed sequential and regulatory control applications. This single-slot module occupies the left-most slot in a 1771 universal I/O chassis and functions as the core processing unit for large-scale industrial operations. The device features 100K words of maximum user memory and supports up to 3072 total I/O maximum channels, or 3072 inputs and 3072 outputs in a complementary configuration. It provides four communication channels configurable for Data Highway Plus (DH+) or Universal Remote I/O (Adapter or Scan modes), along with a dedicated front-panel serial port configurable for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-423A protocols.
