Description

The Basler Electric DECS-250-LN2SN1N is a digital excitation control system designed for precise voltage, var, and power factor regulation of synchronous generators and motors. The DECS-250-LN2SN1N configuration integrates a 24/48 Vac/Vdc power supply, internal and external autotracking capabilities, spring type terminals, and a 100Base-T Ethernet communication interface.

Equipped with a pulse-width-modulated (PWM) power stage delivering up to 15 Adc full-load continuous current, the system supports 1-phase or 3-phase true RMS sensing for voltage and current, integrated generator protection, auto-tuning stability controls, and diagnostic logging. Built-in communication interfaces include USB, RS-232, RS-485, CAN bus, and 100Base-T Ethernet for unit-to-unit communication and system setup via BESTCOMSPlus software.
