Description

To facilitate precise energy management and grid analysis directly within the EtherCAT I/O system, the EL3433 power measurement terminal enables comprehensive 3-phase AC power measurement up to 500 V AC and 10 A. This EtherCAT Terminal processes four current and three voltage channels to calculate active power, reactive power, apparent power, energy consumption, power factor (cos phi), and frequency for each phase. Additionally, harmonic analysis up to the 41st harmonic is integrated, allowing users to evaluate grid quality and detect non-linear loads directly inside the control network without external analyzer hardware.
