The EK1814 is a high-performance EtherCAT Coupler designed to link the EtherCAT protocol with up to 65,534 EtherCAT Terminals (ELxxxx). Manufactured by BECKHOFF, this device functions as the interface between the EtherCAT fieldbus and the individual terminal blocks. Beyond its coupling function, the EK1814 features 4 integrated digital inputs and 4 integrated digital outputs, providing a space-efficient solution for decentralized control systems.
