Installation Guidelines
Avoid mounting probes where side-clearance is less than three times the probe tip diameter (approximately 24 mm) to prevent cross-talk or housing interference. Tighten standard 3/8-24 UNF threads carefully. The recommended installation torque should not exceed 10.7 N-m (95 in-lb) of mounting torque. Ensure proper grounding of the shield wire, tying the shield only at the Proximitor sensor end to minimize ground loops. Use the integrated connector protector to seal the probe-to-extension cable connection from contaminants, moisture, and fluids.
