Installation Guidelines

• Probe Gap: Gap the probe target at the appropriate voltage using a digital multimeter connected to the Proximitor sensor output (typically -10.0 Vdc for the middle of the linear range).
• Mounting Torque: When mounting the M10 x 1 thread probe case, do not exceed the maximum rated torque of 22.6 N-m (200 in-lbf). Recommended installation torque is 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf).
• Bend Radius: Ensure the unarmored FEP-insulated probe cable maintains a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) to prevent internal coaxial shielding damage.
