Description
Fully threaded M10 x 1 metric probe body (Option 00) with 30 mm case length (Option 03) and a 1.0 m total lead length (Option 10) — 330103-00-03-10-02-05.
The 330103-00-03-10-02-05 is an unarmored 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe used in machinery protection and condition monitoring systems. This metric configuration features M10 x 1 threads, a 30 mm overall case length, and a 1.0-meter integrated cable terminated with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector (Option 02). With agency approval Option 05, it provides compliance for hazardous area installations under CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certifications.
Unlike armored options (such as the 330104 series) or configurations with connector protectors, this variant uses a standard unarmored 75-ohm triaxial FEP-insulated cable with a bare ClickLoc connector. The 0 mm unthreaded case specification provides a fully threaded body ideal for installation where standard reverse-mount probes or longer unthreaded lengths are not mechanically suitable.
Features
- M10 x 1 metric thread configuration without protective armor (base model 330103)
- Fully threaded case with 0 mm unthreaded length (Option 00)
- Compact 30 mm overall case length (Option 03)
- 1.0-meter (3.3 feet) integrated standard FEP coaxial cable (Option 10)
- Miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector without connector protector (Option 02)
- CSA, ATEX, and IECEx agency approvals for hazardous environments (Option 05)
- Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip and AISI 303 stainless steel case body
- Built-in Viton O-ring for differential pressure sealing between the tip and case
Applications
- Shaft vibration and axial position measurement on fluid-film bearing machines
- Thrust position and radial vibration monitoring in steam/gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and pumps
- Keyphasor reference, speed, and timing phase measurements
- Rotating machinery protection systems in power generation, oil and gas, and petrochemical plants

Installation Guidelines
Proper gapping is critical; the nominal linear range is 2.0 mm (80 mils) starting 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the tip. Ensure the minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) is maintained during routing to prevent signal attenuation or physical damage. When gapping the probe, observe the maximum torque limit of 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf) for standard M10 x 1 threads during installation. Protect the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector from moisture, oil, and dust by gapping or housing connections appropriately. Use certified junction boxes or multi-purpose housings where multiple probe-to-cable connections reside.
Compliance and Certifications
This device complies with EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, and China RoHS regulations. It features ATEX, IECEx, and CSA hazardous area certifications (Option 05) with intrinsic safety and non-incendive ratings when installed according to Bently Nevada drawings (e.g., 141092 or 140979). Functional Safety: Certified for SIL 2 (HFT = 0) and SIL 3 (HFT = 1) systems.
