Installation Guidelines
Positioning the probe requires establishing the standard 2.5 mm (100 mils) gap using a voltmeter to measure the corresponding -10 Vdc bias output. Standard mount 1/2-20 UNF threaded probes must be locked in place using the supplied locknut. The locknut has pre-drilled holes for safety wire to prevent loose rotation. The minimum bend radius for the probe cable is 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) to protect the internal triaxial conductors. Hand-tighten coaxial ClickLoc connectors; do not exceed 0.565 N-m (5 in-lb) of torque if utilizing mechanical tools. Exposing the probe to temperatures below -34 degC (-30 degF) may cause premature failure of the pressure seal.
