Description
Option 00 (0.0 in unthreaded length) and Option 11 (Miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with connector protector, FluidLoc cable) specify this 3300 XL 11 mm proximity probe configuration — 330701-00-40-10-11-05.
Unlike variants utilizing standard coaxial cable configurations (such as Option 01 or 02), this configuration uses a FluidLoc cable to block fluid migration through the cable interior. It features a 1/2-20 UNF unarmored threaded thread case (unlike the M14 or M16 metric case designs or armored alternatives like the 330702), making it suitable for direct installation in threaded machine casings where standard fluid containment is necessary.
Features
- Option 00 specifies a 0.0 in unthreaded length on a 4.0 in overall threaded case length.
- Option 11 features a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with a fluorosilicone connector protector and integrated FluidLoc cable.
- Option 05 designates multiple agency approvals for hazardous area installations.
- 11 mm probe tip provides an extended 4.0 mm (160 mil) linear measurement range.
- Unarmored 1/2-20 UNF-2A threaded case body constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel.
Applications
Used for non-contact eddy-current displacement and vibration measurements within 3300 XL 11 mm monitoring systems. Standard applications include turbine and compressor shaft vibration, rotor axial (thrust) position, ramp differential expansion measurements on steam turbines, rod position or rod drop measurements on reciprocating compressors, and phase reference (Keyphasor) signaling on high-speed rotating machinery.

Installation Guidelines
Install the probe in accordance with Bently Nevada dimensional drawings. Maintain a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) for standard and armored coaxial runs. When securing the 1/2-20 UNF probe case, do not exceed the maximum rated torque of 45.2 N-m (400 in-lb); the recommended mounting torque is 15.2 N-m (133 in-lb). Ensure the pre-drilled safety wire holes on the locknut are used to secure the probe housing in position. Protect the ClickLoc connection with the included fluorosilicone connector protector in environments with high humidity or liquid exposure.
Compliance and Certifications
Certified for installation under hazardous area requirements where Option 05 is specified. Compliant with European CE mark approvals, EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, standards EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4, RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, and China RoHS regulations.
