Description

Unarmored 1/4-28 UNF threaded probe body (Option 00) with 1.5 in overall case (Option 15) and 0.5 m lead length (Option 05) — 330901-00-15-05-02-05. This eddy-current non-contacting transducer is a part of the 3300 NSv proximity probe system, used in confined spaces with tight clearances, small-bore machinery, and aeroderivative turbines where standard 5 mm or 8 mm systems do not fit because of sideview, counterbore, or rearview constraints.

Unlike the armored 330902 variants, this configuration features a lightweight unarmored 1/4-28 UNF threaded case. Its ClickLoc miniature coaxial connector connects directly to a 330930 extension cable and a 330980 Proximitor sensor. Option 02 specifies standard cabling without an integrated connector protector, and Option 05 grants multiple international hazardous area certifications (CSA, ATEX, IECEx) for installations in explosive atmospheres.

Installation Guidelines

Maintain correct thread engagement. For 1/4-28 UNF threads, the maximum length of thread engagement should not exceed 0.375 inches to avoid binding during installation. Ensure the minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) is respected during cable routing. Secure the ClickLoc connection by hand-tightening, then applying the specified finger-tight torque. Exposing the probe to temperatures below -34 degC for sustained periods may degrade the Viton O-ring seal; verify your operating environment matches this limit.
