Description

330910-16-23-10-02-00: 3300 NSv proximity probe, M10x1 metric thread with integrated stainless steel armor, Option 16 specifying 160 mm unthreaded length and Option 23 specifying 230 mm overall case length. This non-contact eddy-current displacement sensor is designed for tight-clearance situations with reduced target areas where standard probes cannot be installed.

Unlike standard 8 mm probe systems, this 3300 NSv configuration utilizes a narrower physical profile to measure shaft vibration, axial position, and dynamic speed on high-speed machinery. It operates with a 3300 NSv Proximitor Sensor and standard extension cable. This specific model features a 1.0 m total length with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, packaged without hazardous area approvals under Option 00.

Installation Guidelines

To avoid binding during installation, the maximum length of thread engagement for M10x1 probes is 15 mm. The probe case torque must not exceed the maximum rated limit of 33.9 N m (300 in-lb) to prevent mechanical damage. Ensure that the sum of probe length and extension cable length equals the Proximitor Sensor system calibration length (5.0 m or 7.0 m). Connector protectors or self-fusing silicone tape are recommended for all cable connections to prevent liquid contamination.
