Yes, while optimized for Lenze MDSKS or MCS motors, the 9300-series can control third-party permanent magnet synchronous motors. This requires manual entry of the motor's pole pair numbers, winding resistance, and inductance data into the Global Drive Control (GDC) software.

What should I check if I receive an 'OC1' (Short Circuit) error on power-up?

An OC1 fault indicates a low-impedance path at the output. Disconnect the motor cable from the U/V/W terminals and reset the drive. If the fault clears, the issue is in the cable or motor winding. If the fault persists with nothing connected, the internal power stage is likely damaged.

Measure the voltage across the +UG and -UG terminals with a multimeter to ensure the DC bus has discharged to below 50 VDC.
