Description
The Allen-Bradley 5069-L3100ERM is a CompactLogix 5380 motion controller designed for industrial automation and integrated motion applications. It provides 10 MB of user memory and supports Integrated Motion over EtherNet/IP.
The controller provides two Ethernet ports for EtherNet/IP communication and a USB programming port. Its Ethernet interfaces can operate in Dual-IP or Linear/DLR mode.
The 5069-L3100ERM supports up to 31 local Compact 5000 I/O modules with applicable Logix Designer versions. It supports up to 180 EtherNet/IP nodes and 32 position-loop-configured Integrated Motion drive axes.

Installation Guidelines
- Install the controller horizontally on a compatible DIN rail.
- Use EN 50022, 35 x 7.5 mm compatible DIN rail.
- Provide MOD Power within the specified 18…32V DC range.
- Select the appropriate separately ordered removable terminal block kit.
- 5069-RTB64-SCREW provides screw-type MOD and SA power terminal blocks.
- 5069-RTB64-SPRING provides spring-type MOD and SA power terminal blocks.
- Use Ethernet cabling and installation practices according to IEC 61918 and IEC 61784-5-2.
- Configure unique IP addresses for both Ethernet ports when using Dual-IP mode.
- Linear/DLR mode uses one IP address for the controller.
